e.p.t® is over 99% accurate - nothing is more accurate.

Most pregnancy tests (including e.p.t®) can be used as early as 4 days before an expected period.

However, because pregnancy hormone levels are lower the earlier you test, results are less reliable, and over 30% of pregnant women may get an incorrect result when testing that early.*

For a result that's over 99% accurate, trust e.p.t® from the day you expect your period.**

New surveys of Ob/Gyns and sexually active women of childbearing age (18-44) reveals that many women are not aware just how crucial timing is when taking a home pregnancy test.
79% of women would want to take a preganancy test as soon as possible if they thought they were pregnant1, yet for many women, taking a test too early to detect the presence of the pregnancy hormone puts them at risk of a "false negative" - a result that tells you that you are not pregnant when you actually are, due to low levels of the pregnancy hormone. Therefore, these women might not modify their behavior (stop smoking, drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages) and/or not visit their doctor.2
Additionally, the survey demonstrates that women need to know the facts about testing accurately for pregnancy. In fact, 60% of women are not aware that using a pregnancy test 4 or more days before their expected period can give an incorrect result for more than 30% of pregnant women.3
